3 Point Lighting

Key Light is the first and usually most important light that a photographer would use.The purpose of the key light is to highlight the form and dimension of the subject.

Fill lights can be hard very soft, or soft they can be placed on the opposite side of the camera far from the light or  on the same side and above and below the lens.The fill light issued with the key light to fill the scene with light.

Back Lights are used to light up the back of actors or objects.They re used to separate an object or person from the background and give the shape more depth.

This Is using the backlight and  key light fill light to create a brighter shot.This could be used for a interview or action shots.

This is an example of the using key light to create a shadow.This is used to for horror type shots.
