What is a storyboard?

A storyboard is a graphic representation of how your film will go shot by shot. It is made up of a number squares with drawings/illustrations that represent each shot in the film. It also includes notes of what's going on in each scene  and what's being said in the script during that shot.

It is very important as it will show how the story will flow and helps you see how all your shots work when put together .It allows you to see possible problems and mistakes in your video/film that would go unnoticed without the storyboard.
