 Boom mic

A boom mic is and extendable and adjustable arm which you mount onto a camera it is used in movies and shows for shots where the mic needs to be close to the sound source but not in the frame.There used to capture sound from far away.

xxx1.Turn on by holding the on/home button

2.Format the SD card to get rid of previous recordings.Press menu < others < system < quick format.

3.Make sure the record mode is correct.For internal mic use press rec mode  and make sure the source says INT MIC ST    .

4. Then hit record to record.

You would use a tascam for things like interviews.

1. plug the mic into the camera in the pull out tab

2.Then attach it to the top 

You would use rode mics inside and outside but you cant be heard from to far away.
